Research is Essential to Create the Future

This is a broad term that can be applied to clinical trials to test out new drugs, or a wide variety of comparative research topics o look at how one approach to a problem may be better than another in improving the quality of care or reducing costs.

Healthcare outcomes such as overall survival or quality of life are the end results of a complex interaction between the patient, treatment and the healthcare system.

Research may identify superior interventions but their dissemination and changing the behavior of healthcare providers is challenging
